“If you had told me yesterday that I’d be spending my evening bringing a tiny, fictional character to life, I probably would have laughed. I walked into the Kent Art Association thinking like a creator—focused on the tangible, the making. I didn't see myself participating theatrically at all. But as it turns out, that was exactly what the universe had in store for me, for us.
The evening was centered around a stunning mask and puppetry exhibit, “State of the Art: Connecticut Puppetry”, organized by CT Guild of Puppetry and the incredible Adelka Polak, a master puppeteer, dancer, and the Artistic Director of Sova Dance & Puppet Theater. I joined my dear long-time friend Christine Altman, as she had some of her own gorgeous, handmade leather masks on display in the exhibit. Brava Christine!”
