“Marvelous Metamorphoses” LIVE performances!
“Marvelous Metamorphoses” unravels to present bizarre and beautiful transformations in our world like caterpillar to butterfly, polliwog to frog, and more! In this outdoor performance we dance & sing our way through these cycles celebrating them for our sustained joy and ecological health on this planet. Do you want to hear a caterpillar rap? Your neurons may sparkle as we bring annual cycles to life through live music and the art of puppetry. Come and enjoy the marvels of nature and art together.

History: “Marvelous Metamorphoses” premiered at Madison Square Park Conservancy’s Kid’s Fest & Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in 2019. The show features puppeteers Adelka Polak & Kendra Garnett with puppets by Adelka Polak & Justin Perlman along with amazing music by Rick & Cynthia Quintanal!
Since the premiere we have performed this delightful show for all ages at Wolf Trap Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, The Ballard Institute & Museum for Puppetry, The Battery Park Conservancy Playscape, Boston tour via the Puppet Showplace, Sandglass Theater (excerpts), LaMama NYC, at private events, in public schools, and Audubon Centers across the region.
